Practicing in the Kingsport, Tennessee, area, Dr. Herbert Ladley has served as a cardiologist at Cardiovascular Associates, PC, since 1984, staying with the organization through several mergers that have integrated the practice’s team into regional healthcare systems. Dr. Herbert Ladley now cares for patients as the chief medical officer of Ballad Health NW Market in the 5 Virginia hospitals in the NW Market and as cardiologist and senior physician with the Ballad CVA Heart Institute.

Over the course of his career in medicine, Dr. Ladley has established professional relationships with a number of organizations at both the state and national levels. His memberships range from the Sullivan County Medical Society to the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, among others.

Upon completing his medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Dr. Herbert Ladley continued his training with an internal medicine residency at the University of Florida, becoming chief resident in 1980. He then completed a cardiology fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University, and now maintains medical licenses in both Tennessee and Virginia.
